arrived about 10.30 to find nice strong wind of about 15knts with a promise to build (which it did),

12m storm3 and the 125 litewave, what a combination with a westerly wind to begin with i was going back and forth towards dovey with some nice sand bar jumps in the flat water, i attempted a forward loop with a kite loop and the dam busters came to mind as i accelerated forward with the kite looping and bounced like the bouncing bomb, or was that bum,

(note to self dont try new stuff when on own on beach).

wind and rain came in so i went for a break to let it pass, when i came back out the sun was makeing an apperance and the wind had gone northly to about 20knts ..

i lost my board right out the back and when i did the wind went nueclear and after about 30mins of trying to bodydrag upwind i came in and walked up the beach for one final attempt.

waves were monsterous and just as i was giving up my board came over on top of a wave about 6 foot in front of me lucky or what, i came in packed up as i was totally knackered having been swimming for the las t30 mins, chris turned up and i told him of my board loss..turns out he wasn't so lucky but i'm sure it'll turn up..as i was packing away Al turned up to go and play..

who needs reef girls when youve got wind like that
